As Captain of the Black Pearl, being surrounded by only water and foul smelling pirates has placed a soft spot in my heart for anything water and sewer related. Ok...so not actually, but hopefully it caught your attention. I'm a Municipal Engineer based out of the Calgary office, and spend a lot of my time modelling water, wastewater, and stormwater networks in many different software programs, then writing about my findings. During my 7+ years with ISL, I've worked on big and small systems from Saskatchewan to BC, and have enjoyed getting the opportunity to meet ISLers across all our offices. In my free time, I like to look after homeless dogs, eat sourdough bread, watch plants grow, and aimlessly reorganize my house (if you can't tell, most of these began at the start of COVID). I'm most looking forward to travelling again as soon as it's possible, I've accumulated a backlog of trips!
